April 15, 2010 We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Bali Hale cottage. It was perfect for my husband and me. The cottage was a beautifully decorated, exquisitely furnished, clean and comfortable. The cottage’s location afforded uncomparable views: the ocean view with the island of Lanai in the distance, and as a backdrop, the picture-perfect West Maui Mountain foothills and valleys. We were treated to a colorful crimson sunset the 1st evening, along with a star-filled sky after dark, and almost every night. Bali Hale’s landscaping was meticulously adorned with many colorful flowering bushes, shrubs, and native fruit trees. The outdoor furnishings were extremely comfortable on the lanai for eating, lounging, and relaxing. The pool was refreshing for our afternoon swim, evening dip, or just relaxing and reading a book. The Bali Hale Cottage was ideal because of its close proximity to Lahaina Town, but far enough to enjoy privacy and serenity. Lahaina Town was a small, quaint town, with eclectic art galleries, wonderful shops, and plentiful restaurants to suit our tastes. We really appreciated Tyler’s assistance in securing reservations for the Bali Hale Cottage. The views were incredible. I normally do not write reviews even when satisfied but I felt I needed to say something on this cottage. We enjoyed our stay!! I actually had a sprained knee and was stuck at the cottage the majority of our vacation. It was the best place to be "stuck". I think even if I had been perfectly healthy we would have spent most of our time there. It had everything we needed.
